Still here, feeling great...........

Yes, I am still alive, in fact very alive and I will come to that. ( No I don't drink much alcohol nowadays, but celebrating the birth of my second grandchild calls for a small bottle of bubbly, right?!)

Firstly I thought I would explain a little more about the supplements, vitamins, detox products I have been taking. I have been receiving so many emails asking me over the last few months, which I have been replying to  individually, so here is my summary:

  1. Allergosan Stress (also known as Omni Biotic Stress : Stress is not equal to stress. Short, temporary stress puts the organism in a "trial alarm" and acts like repeated training. One sleeps better and is more balanced. However, if you are under stress for a long time - whether professional or private - you place the entire organism in a permanent "state of alarm", the so-called dystress.
This can affect the body in many ways: In addition to mental function (e.g., ability to concentrate), the energy balance and immune system are also affected. This also applies to different hormones, such as Sleep and happiness hormones.
In addition, stress has effects on the mucous membranes, e.g. the intestinal mucosa. A normally functioning intestinal mucous membrane is colonized by trillions of natural intestinal bacteria, which play a central role in our organism.
  2. Zeolith : The effect of zeolite has not been scientifically proven, but some studies have shown that zeolite has positive properties that could support the human organism.
Basically, zeolite is said to be antiviral, antibacterial, anti-oxidative and detoxifying and act as a catalyst. Cell protection and discharge of the gastrointestinal tract are also repeatedly referred to in context. The main action described in the context is to have zeolite on the gastrointestinal tract. Throughout the intestinal tract are the free radicals that are said to be harmful to the body.
Zeolite is said to make it with the active ingredient silicon ensure that the intestinal activity is regulated and improved. In addition, therefore, at the same time the immune system can be strengthened and the body can be detoxified.
  3. Cordyceps: Traditional healers in Sikkim recommend the fungus/mushroom Cordyceps sinensis for “all illnesses” as a tonic, because they claim that it improves energy, appetite, stamina, libido, endurance, and sleeping patterns. It is a rare combination of a caterpillar and fungus found in Sikkim at altitudes above 3,800 m. 6 Benefits of Cordyceps: Increase Immune Function and Have Anti-Aging Effects. ...Increase Immune Function and Have Anti-Aging Effects. ...Improve Stamina and Athletic Performance. ...Act Like a Natural Aphrodisiac. ...Fight Diabetes. ...Improve Liver Function and Detoxification. ...Fight Respiratory Infections.
  4. Agarius Balzei: https://thetruthaboutcancer.com/agaricus-blazei-murill-mushroom/
The reported day-to-day health benefits of Agaricus include relief from chronic fatigue (more energy!), blood sugar balance, improved mood, lowered blood pressure, increased libido, and heightened immunity. The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center also cites Agaricus as a remedy for conditions like arteriosclerosis (the thickening and hardening of arteries), hepatitis, dermatitis, hyperlipidemia (elevated triglyceride levels), high cholesterol, and obesity. But where Agaricusreally shines in the scientific literature is in the area of cancer, for which its resume of efficacy is nothing short of impressive. The two primary ways in which Agaricus is reported to stave off cancer is through immunopotentiation, an enhancement of the immune response; and direct inhibition of angiogenesis, the process by which cancer tumors form new blood vessels to supply them with food. By way of these two modes of action, Agaricus has shown incredible promise in the realm of anti-cancer research. Studies have shown that Agaricus may be beneficial in treating various types of cancer, including drug-resistant human hepatocellular carcinoma, non-lymphocytic leukemia, and prostate cancer, among others. Its unique ability to improve the activity and function of natural killer cells, which go after cancer cells in order to destroy them, is one of the reasons why Agaricus possesses this capability. That and the mushroom’s natural ability to stimulate the body’s innate immune system.
  5. Sango Koralle: http://www.marine-bio.co.jp/en/coral-benefits/the-calcium-of-natural-coral-grains
Coral calcium comes from the remains of coral and is naturally porous—it’s full of microscopic holes. Even the smallest grains of powdered calcium coral are a few microns in size, so the powder retains this porous quality. What does this mean? It’s less dense than calcium carbonate from limestone, and absorbs quickly into your bloodstream. It has greater surface area: because of all the holes, one gram of coral calcium is larger than one gram of other types of calcium carbonate. This means that gram for gram, more calcium is exposed to and absorbed by the cells in your body. It has high bioavailability: high absorption means more calcium reaches your system, and less leaves your body as waste. So you get the coral calcium benefits: sango calcium, magnesium and 74 other coral minerals you need.

Vitamin B3, also called niacin and niacinamide, is an important water-soluble vitamin that can be found in many common foods including certain types of meat and organ meat, tuna fish, seeds, mushrooms and others. Niacin is a part of the vitamin B complex, along with other B vitamins including Vitamin B1 (thiamine), Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) and more. Vitamin B3, which is usually medically referred to as niacin, comes in 3 forms: nicotinic acid, Niacinamide and Inositol Hexaniacinate.

9. 1 Tablet Vitamin C: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/vitamin-c-benefits
Protects against immune system deficiencies, cardiovascular disease, as well as prenatal health problems, eye disease and its also good for the skin.
Vitamin C is a strong antioxidant that can strengthen your body’s natural defenses . Antioxidants are molecules that boost the immune system. They do so by protecting cells from harmful molecules called free radicals. When free radicals accumulate, they can promote a state known as oxidative stress, which has been linked to many chronic diseases. Studies show that consuming more vitamin C can increase your blood antioxidant levels by up to 30%. This helps the body's natural defenses fight inflammation.
10. 2 Tablets Zink: https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-982/zinc
Zinc is a mineral. It is called an "essential trace element" because very small amounts of zinc are necessary for human health. Since the human body does not store excess zinc, it must be consumed regularly as part of the diet..
It is also used for boosting the immune system, improving growth and heath in zinc deficient infants and children, for treating the common cold and recurrent ear infections, the flu, upper respiratory tract infections, preventing and treating lower respiratory infections, swine flu, bladder infections, ringing in the ears, and severe head injuries. It is also used for malaria and other diseases caused by parasites.
It is also taken by mouth anorexia nervosa, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, depression after pregnancy (postpartum depression), dementia, dry mouth, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), blunted sense of taste (hypogeusia), hepatic encephalopathy, alcohol-related liver disease, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, canker sores, stomach ulcers, leg ulcers, and bed sores.
Some men take zinc by mouth for male fertility problems and enlarged prostate, as well as erectile dysfunction (ED).
Zinc is taken by mouth for osteoporosis, cysts on the ovaries, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, warts, and muscle cramps in people with liver disease. It is also used for sickle cell disease, itching, rosacea, hair loss, psoriasis, eczema, acne, a blood disorder called thalassemia, Alzheimer's disease, Down syndrome, Hansen's disease, and cystic fibrosis.
It is also taken by mouth for cancer prevention, including esophageal cancer, colon and rectal cancer, stomach cancer, brain cancer, head and neck cancer recurrence, nasal and throat cancer recurrence, and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Zinc is used by mouth to prevent inflammation in the lining of the digestive tract, chemotherapy-related complications, anemia, pregnancy-related complications including iron deficiency, vitamin A deficiency (taken with vitamin A), seizures, arsenic poisoning, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), clogged arteries, leukemia, burns, diaper rash, leprosy, and skin lesions caused by leishmania infection.
Zinc is also applied to the skin for treating acne, foot ulcers caused by diabetes, leg ulcers, diaper rash, warts, aging skin, brown patches on the face, herpes simplex infections, parasitic infections, and to speed wound healing. Zinc is also applied to the anus for people with problems controlling bowel movements.

11. 2 Tablets Lebertran / also known as Cod liver oil: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/270071.php
In 2017, scientists reported discovering a previously unknown group of molecules that may have anti-inflammatory properties. They come from cannabinoids that derive from omega-3 fatty acids. The researchers suggest that these molecules could be extracted from omega-3 fatty acids for therapeutic purposes. The effect, they say, could be similar to that produced by medicinal marijuana, but without the psychological risks. Cod liver oil is one of the richest sources of vitamin D available. Sun exposure is also important, because the body cannot get all of its vitamin D needs from food sources. Vitamin D is important for regulating calcium and phosphorus levels in the blood, two factors that are extremely important for maintaining healthy bones. It may also affect the risk of cancer, type 1 and type 2 diabeteshigh blood pressure (hypertension), multiple sclerosis, and other conditions.

12. 3 Tablets Niacel: http://www.hoffmancenter.com/page.cfm/1551
Nicotinamide riboside (NR) is the most direct precursor to nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+).* NAD+ is a key component of the citric acid cycle and the electron transport chain, both involved in mitochondrial production of ATP for energy. In addition to its importance in cellular energy production, NAD+ is a critical substrate for several enzymes, including sirtuins (SIRT1 and SIRT3, in particular), which play key roles in healthy aging, weight management, metabolic syndrome, and hepatic lipid metabolism. It supports insulin sensitivity. It promotes healthy aging by turning on sirtuins, which increases mitochondrial biogenesis. It is neuroprotective and supports cognitive function.
13. 1 Tablet Chrom – good evidence that it can lower glucose levels and improve insulin sensitivity , supports a healthy liver. It is also found in various vegetables like Broccoli, Barley, Beans, Tomatoes, Grape juice, etc, just to name a few

14. 1 Tablet Mangan – some of the health benefits include healthy bones, formation of connective tissues, absorption of calcium etc and a  lot more

15. 1 Tablet Vitamin D3 – helps absorb calcium and promote bone growth. A Vitamin D deficiency has been linked to breast cancer , colon cancer, prostrate cancer, heart disease etc.
https://www.webmd.com/osteoporosis/features/the-truth-about-vitamin-d-why-you-need-vitamin-d
This has really made me reflect on my life style the last 18 years. Whilst living in the South of Spain with an average of 360 days of sunshine, I spent little time in the sun, as I was working virtually round the clock to build my company and raise our three children. This could have been such an ‘easy fix’ if I h ad stopped and thought about what I was doing to my body. The body makes Vitamin D itself but only after the skin has been exposed to sufficient sunlight. Needless to say, since knowing this, I am spending as much time outside as I realistically can.

16. 1 Tablet Selen ( every other day) which is Selenium in English. It may reduce the risk of certain cancers and boost the immune system. Here it is important not to overdo it, if you take to o much selenium the side effects are not pretty. I take it every other day.

Plumbum: https://www.doctorshealthpress.com/food-and-nutrition-articles/alternative-remedies-food-and-nutrition-articles/homeopathic-lead-plumbum-metallicum/   works against leg cramps

In addition I also use Magnesium oil,
which I have bought initially ready made, but am now making it myself.
https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/10-proven-magnesium-benefits#section10 Magnesium is a mineral found in the earth, sea, plants, animals and humans. About 60% of the magnesium in your body is found in bone, while the rest is in muscles, soft tissues and fluids, including blood. In fact, every cell in your body contains it, and needs it to function.
One of magnesium's main roles is acting as a cofactor or "helper molecule" in the biochemical reactions continuously performed by enzymes. It is actually involved in more than 600 reactions in your body, including:
Energy creation: Helps convert food into energy. Protein formation: Helps create new proteins from amino acids. Gene maintenance: Helps create and repair DNA and RNA. Muscle movements: Is part of the contraction and relaxation of muscles. Nervous system regulation: Helps regulate neurotransmitters, which send messages throughout your brain and nervous system.
